SHE’S THE KINDNESS IN PERSON. AND I’M NOT EVEN KIDDING.

And, yeah, if you don’t know who she is, she’s Youji’s sister, Erika Serizawa.

After their parents’ death, she did everything she could for Youji. Everything. She wanted to be a good sister for him, she wanted him to live a healthy life, to know that she’s always there for him. As you can see in the game she often calls him, asking how’s everything at school, if he ate, etc. When Youji needs to talk to someone, or when he just wants to talk about his thoughts, he calls her and she always answers. She’s always ready to listen to his little brother. And Youji knows perfectly.

Though, she’s married and she’s pregnant, so she needs to stay in the hospital because she’s as weak as Youji. And there happens one of the most heartbreaking and sweet scenes in the game. Though it’s pointless to write it here, that would be a spoiler. Just one thing I need to say about that scene: she names her baby ‘Yuuji’ = ‘Yuu’ from her husband’s name and ‘ji’ from ‘Youji’. After that she says that they are the most important persons in her life.

AND THAT JUST MAKES YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I SAID THAT SHE’S THE KINDNESS IN PERSON.

I’m probably one of the few people that has only one OTP, judging by all these posts here on Tumblr.

This is the only couple that can really be my OTP. It’s the only one that will be stuck in my heart. No one else.

Well, these two didn’t have a good start. Youji went to school, and shit happened. Literally. Tetsuo wasn’t that great of a help, he was one of the shit that happened to him. He was nearly stalking Youji. Always watching Youji, all silent. It was pretty weird and creepy. It wasn’t Tetsuo’s fault though.

As time goes by, and you can feel the time that goes by in the game, Tetsuo starts to change attitude towards Youji. Youji notices that too. He starts to care about him: about his health, about everything. He starts to protect him.

At the end of the game, you can feel that their love isn’t the same as every other type of love. It’s more, I don’t know how to say it, it’s more real and it’s not based on the words, but mostly on the actions. Ah, damn, it’s becoming difficult to explain. But anyway, I was saying, they are prepared for anything that will happen in their futures, they are prepared to sacrifice themselves for everything, because they already know that it’s not a good future at all. They love each other, they trust each other, they want to be together forever even if they already know that it’s impossible. They don’t lose hope, because they know that they can trust eachother and they know that they will be together, because they can’t live without eachother. 

I know it’s a stupid and dumb thing to say, but they showed me another side of love that was nearly forgotten, in the society that we are now (especially mine,  everything is superficial here), and they teached me this beautiful side of love.

And, well, now I just want to say… Happy Birthday, Youji!
